Snacking behaviors of students is an important and yet rarely discussed topic. Many young Americans snack daily and when done in moderation and comprising primarily healthy choices, snacking isn’t necessarily causing obesity and other problems. But more often than not, snacking ends up causing excessive food consumption and an unhealthy lifestyle.

One way to start solving this problem is to understand the snack-eating habits of students. To that end, we are running a survey to collect data on which snacks students in the state of New York usually consume, why they choose particular snacks, and what would it take for them to adopt healthier options. We’ll then analyze the data and write a report that we plan to distribute to media outlets, universities, and other interested parties.

If you are a student in the state of New York, then please fill out the survey below and help us collect enough data to draw meaningful conclusions. Thank you in advance!
